Point process (image processing)A class of image processing transforms
where every pixel is taken, one at a time from an image, and mathematically
transformed into a new value with no input from any other pixel in the
image.
A point process is a degenerative neighborhood process where the
kernel is a matrix of pixels
that is 1x1 or in other words a single pixel.
