COLOR RESOLUTION CONVERTER SDK- COLOR SPACE CONVERTER SDK
Color Processing
Devices, operating systems, drivers and applications all interpret
and reproduce colors differently. The differences in color depth
(a.k.a. bit depth) that may occur between images can be
corrected by transforming an image's color
space. Color space definitions are used to classify colors according to such attributes as
hue, saturation,
chroma (color information), lightness, or brightness.
They are also used for color matching.
Instead of requiring developers to write color space conversion
tools, commercial SDK's offer functions to ease the conversion of
images. These tools typically offer color space support, including
facilities for:
- Color space conversions
- Color separation and combination
- Support for any color space utilized in any of the supported image formats
- Native support for color spaces such as CMYK without
requiring conversion to RGB, thus
maintaining image fidelity
- Color reduction functions for ensuring maximum quality and minimum
size
