IMAGING GLOSSARY
Image MapA concept used in HTML files, that allows different
parts of an image to become a 'hotspot' that hyperlinks to another Web page.
These areas are defined in HTML code in terms of X and Y coordinates, to
which other properties such as target page address, window and alternate
text are associated.
